RATU: TEMAN TAPI MESRA

Ratu is duo group from Indonesia who has hit single TEMAN TAPI MESRA that is recently rearranged and sung by Ladylike, the vocal group from Sweden.
Ratu was formed in 2003 and consist of two vocalis that is Maia Estianty and Pinkan Mambo. Yet, in the middle of 2003, Pinkan Mambo resigned from this group, and then in 2005, Mulan Kwok or Wulan Sari join this group via audision by Ratu Management, Achmad Dhani, Maia's husband. In November 2005, this duo Ratu launched their album tittled RATU AND FRIENDS, in which in this album there is the single TEMAN TAPI MESRA that attracted the all audiences.
Unfortunately, in the end of 2007, Mulan Kwok also resigned from Ratu, and in this time Maia should face the problem withe her husband either about her family problem or Ratu Management Problem.
Facing this hard problem, Maia attempted to hold out and then she looked for the new member of Ratu.
She established the audision, and finally, she could find Mey Chan (Dita Anggraini) and this name group was not Ratu, but DUO MAIA. Their single was launched on 2008 tittled MAIA AND FRIENDS and get double platinum from SOny BMG.
This album brought them get famous and there are many advertisers and big firms attracted to use them as endorser in their advertisement.
