We all know by now that Elvis Presley married Priscilla Beaulieu on May 1, 1967 at the Aladdin Hotel in Las Vegas in a private ceremony. The word 'obey' was purposely removed from their wedding vows per Elvis request. The bride wore a beaded white gown and her veil mounted on her dyed black beehive. Elvis proposed to Cilla on Christmas Eve 1966 and on May1, 1967 Elvis and Priscilla were married in a private ceremony hold in the Milton Prell's suite at the Aladdin Hotel in Las Vegas. After releasing “Love Me Tender” and “Jailhouse Rock,” Elvis moved into Graceland in 1957,a Memphis mansion that now draws over one million visitors per year. Elvis enlisted in the U.S. Army in 1958 and spent two years in Germany. He returned to the United States in 1960 and in 1967 married longtime girlfriend Priscilla Beaulieu. They later had a daughter, Lisa-Marie. Elvis died on August 16, 1977 at Graceland.
